How Do I submit a story for an MP Award/the MP List?

Go to the Submit A Story page. There is a form you can fill out there. Once you hit the submit button, I'll have your submission. If you have any questions about this, email me at mockingbirdprints@gmail.com.

What types of stories can be submitted?

Any! That's the best part. MP submissions can be fan fictions or original animes. It doesn't matter so long as it's a story!

Will you take submissions with lemons/lime, character death, slash, etc?

Yes. It doesn't matter what content is in your story. However, we won't accept stories that are just lemon after lemon. Nor will we accept stories with immoral lessons.

What languages do you accept?

English only, sorry! But if we get Sparrows that speak other languages, we'll accept those as well. But right now, it's all English.

Will you accept stories that need passwords/that have restrictions?

No. If we need a password to read all or part of the story, we'd appreciate it if you didn't submit it. Or, if you want to submit it but it has password protected chapters, please give us the password so we can access it. But to give you a simple answer, if we can't read it, we won't accept it.

Will you accept role playing (RP) stories?

We apologize but no, we won't. Role playing stories can be written by several different people and can be ridiculously long and have plots that draw out for eternity. So we will not accept role playing stories. But if the story is written by one or two people in a forum and isn't an RP, then we will accept it. Again, so long as we can read it.

How long/short can submissions be? Do they have to be finished?

It doesn't matter how long the story is. It can be a 100 chapter story and still going or it can be a one-shot. As for does it have to finished, no. But the story must have a good enough amount written on it so that it can be judged properly. How much needs to be written is decided by me so feel free to submit any length of work.

Can I submit my own stories?

You bet your rainbow colored monkeys you can! You can submit your own, your best friend's, your favorite authors or that eccentric, strange writer you've just stumbled across.

What sites will you except stories from?

So long as you don't have to be a member to read the story, then any site. But Quizilla.com is the main site MP works with.

How many times can a story be submitted For An MP Award?

You can submit a story as many times as you like. But if you get a message saying that the story you submitted doesn't meet MP Award requirements, then we kindly ask that you do not submit that same story again. If you do, it will be annoyingly ignored.

Is there a list of stories that have been submitted that I can see?

No, there is not. However, after a judging, we post up good stories that were submitted but just didn't make it to the MP Award. This is as close as you will get to seeing a list of submission. If you're worried about submitting a story that someone else has already submitted, don't worry about it. We delete all duplicates so go ahead and submit the story.

What if I/the author of the story move sites or delete the story?

I really hope no one deletes their stories permanently. But if they do, then I will remove their linkage from the site. If you/the author moves, then I will try to change the linking accordingly. But I can't do this without some much needed help. If you move/rename/delete your stories, please be so kind as to give me a heads up by messaging me in some form or fashion.

I don't agree with your choice of RP Award Winner. Will you change it?

Give me a good reason and I might. But you better be prepared to back yourself up on why you disapprove of the story.
