Every week or so the staff choose a story that is impressive in some way or another from a list of submitted stories. That chosen story is given an MP Award.

Once the story has been chosen, the author of the story is then told and with their permission, I post a link to the story and write a bit about the story on why it was chosen.

If, in the case that the MP Award Winner's author doesn't want anything written on the story, I will oblige. If they don't want the story to be advertised, then the staff will choose the next runner up and so on until we have a winner that I can post.

About The Grading

How the staff chooses a story is actually quite simple. We rate them on several aspects which we deem important to any general story. Although sometimes we will ignore a certain part because the story doesn't follow the general guidelines Anyway these include but aren't limited to:

• Is it easy to read? (Spelling and grammar)
• Is the plot put together well?
• How original is the story for its genre?
• Are there too many clichés?
• Is the message (or lesson) of the story moral?
• Do the characters change and mature?

• Do the original show's/book's/movie's/game's characters seem true to themselves?
• How well do the author's character fit into the setting?
• Are there characters that are seriously insulted in offensive ways?
